It was nice having a few days off to help the family get adjusted to a new baby(still a work in progress). Monday I have to head back into the working world to “go get the bacon” as Dickson would say it. Keep checking the Picasa Albums for new photos. I’ll try to update them as often as I can.

Gideon McLeod Nash was born on 8-12-08 (Tuesday) at 9:25pm. He was 8lbs 3oz and 20 5/8″ long. Mandy had a fairly quick labor but everything went smooth. Gideon is healthy and doing all the proper newborn things(sleeping, eating, pooping, in that order).  Dickson and Judah are being sweet to him and seem to be somewhat interested in his presence. We are very blessed and thankful that everything went so well. God certainly is in control.

On Saturday Dickson rode behind the boat by himself for the first time. He went prone on the kneeboard and he held on the handle himself. I’m very proud of him and he kept wanting to go do it more. Hopefully he will enjoy being on the lake as much as I have.
